Thankyou so much all aaaa, im getting a little leatherbound journal for my character and im definitely gonna write theese all down and visit them (now just to hope i can make enough money in game to do so haha)
Thankyou so much for the offer! Id love to take you up on it!
Small problem is that i did since writing this post i got swept up in the dark fairytale lore of varushka along with my friend so I am no longer in highguard ak ^^"
But maybe i can still say hi since given the list of places ive been given to visit im sure ill be moving around the nations a lot haha!
Ahh, welcome to Varushka!
We walk a balance between quite intense at times and quite chill, but thereās always spaces to just sit and watch the world go by. Let me know if you have any questions!
Aaaa thankyou for the welcome! ^^ if i think of any questions i will certainly ask :0
As of now i think most of my questions about the game itself tho, which micht be best left till weāre in the world and playing!
Ah actually! I might have one qiestion for you ^^
I was looking through the new players schedule and i noticed the overlap between the apothecary session and the new player skirmish! I have currently got my character based around making potions because i liked the idea of being a potions merchant but also a chance to try out combat in a low pressure scenario so i can have a go at multiple aspects of the game would be fun.
If you have any insight into which you think i should go to it would be greatly appreciated ^^" (but ofc nw if not)
I would reccomend attending the New Player Skirmish. Itās a chance to try combat, with some tuition, in a carefully balanced environment, with no risk to your character.
The Apothecary rules are not too complex, and can be explained by many a veteran player, if not a referee.
Sorry for the delayed reply, for some reason email notifs from here always go in my junk ![]()
Iād agree with Geoffrey - being an apothecary is something that can be learned as you go, and the rules donāt carry any real risk with them. Being able to try the combat in a safe setting is definitely worth it.
It may not be for a while, but you can also still attend the new player meetings at future events if you find that you donāt get the chance to learn about apothecary-ing at the next event youāre at.
