At E1 I am planning to organise a sale of used larp weapons and related gear to new players, so if anyone has surplus wargear of good quality, I’d love to hear from you.
This came about because a friend asked me to sell on some of their old weapons as they no longer fight, and then a few other friends also said they had arms/shields they would be very happy to pass on, especially if it would help new players get started. So I got the OK from PD and would like to throw this out there to see who else might be interested.

I will be on site from Thursday afternoon, in the Camorra Barossa camp in the League (red banner with a fox on it). If you have things to sell, please bring them to my camp before 10am Friday.
Along with any items, please provide an envelope containing your contact details and a list of items you are selling, with how much you want for each of them. Typing a label with your PID to each item for sale would also be helpful.
If possible, please have any weapons checked before bringing them so we can be sure of condition before sale. If all else fails I could check them myself, but prefer to get second opinions on weird cases, so would rather not be doing this en masse.
Any cash obtained for you will be put in your envelope to pick up before the end of the event. Any cash not collected will be taken with me and I’ll chase you after the event using your contact details (but please save me from having to do this).
Any items unsold can be collected before time out on sunday, after which they will either be taken to lost property or disposed of (given away or skipped) if you have indicated you absolutely do not want them back.
Items will be on sale at a minimum between 11am and 2.30pm Friday (when I need to go to the New Player Skirmish) and for a short window between the NPS and time in. This may be extended, as some volunteers have already said they will be happy to stand in for some extra times.
This will be promoted as a sale to help out new players, of whom I understand we have an ungodly host this event (yay!), so I’ll ask people not to take the piss and limit themselves to a couple of items each, and not for veteran players to turn up hoping to buy their fifteenth axe on the cheap. Also, prices from everyone taking part thus far are very much on the low side, and I’ll have some costume to give away as well.
