Hi there, I’ve removed myself from all social media 2yrs ago, I refuse to touch FB or Twitter or anything really, may i ask as well as I know FB will and has always been the main Empire communication vent, but does everything that is released on there, on these forums; as I’m finding myself more reliant on here for the info etc … as well as the PD website.

All main announcements (winds of war&trade, wiki updates, downtime opening ect) are reposted here.
The only thing you’ll be missing out is photos,review’s, the odd crowd fund and frothing enthusiasm (though thiers plenty of the latter here).
All the critical information is in the website and here.
Some nations arrange their IC camping through Facebook, which might cause you some difficulties, but if you need to camp IC I’m sure if you email PD they can find a workaround.

Echoing the above, the only critical thing you need from FB is if you are camping IC, and need to co-ordinate with camp planners.
In that case (and in my experience), the easiest thing to do is send an email to your group leader/contact with details when requested.
Other than that… by all means stay here, you’ll be fine.

They point to the FB groups but all the camp planners also have a PD email address as well for people like yourself. Highguard do their camp planning here and I think some of the other camp planners stick their heads in as well.
Also make sure that you’ve ticked the “email me Empire Updates” box on your account details. Login to your account and click “edit account details” on the Summary page. Then tick this box as that will make sure you get email updates.
