I am making a sword, which I propose to inscribe with runes. Unfortunately the standard runes don’t really work for me - they look like they are made by brush strokes, which is fine in some contexts, but the charm of real world runes is that they can be made by simple chisel strokes, which is obviously more applicable when it comes to swords. I can imagine that different rune styles would be developed for these applications, for example as shown below. Is it cool for me to do something like this, or is this dangerously unorthodox?

Given the variable way folks draw/write/finger paint/embroider them on in field and how clearly they look like the more “standard”/cursive ones on the Wiki, it’s a fun presentation and very clear presentation of the form
(Also something, something at least one Nation’s hearth magics and symbols being understood in all forms)
Thanks for your encouragement! I have turned my version into a truetype font - do you think this might be something that could maybe be added to the wiki? How does one go about that?
Probably the best thing would be to attache the above runic set to an email to PD and see what they think. Maybe after the next event?
