Briar are said to have dark veins, and of course the barkish scars etc
Would something like this be appropriate for a heavily-lineaged briar?
I think that would look great for the veins. A couple of bits of bark too and you’d be a very obvious briar.
Might come over a bit more Vallorn husk than briar? Leaves are never a Briar trapping.
Excellent idea though, my character is absolutely horrified by the picture.
