Honestly the thought of creating songbooks or kit without these items makes me run cold. Brought to you today by discovering I’ve lost my songbook and needing to print off and bind a new one.
What are other people’s favourite investments for LRP crafting?
Good fabric scissors of multiple cut ability (with appropriate threat to partner never to use them for anything other than fabric)
Transfer paper/stabilization paper that can be fed through a standard printer and stuck on to things to embroider (and a partner who can do vector art and take weird descriptions like “well, kinda like a sun bittern crossed with a red called crane” and make it into an outline)
Good thread and far too many embroidery needles
Reusable embroidery stencils (I cannot draw, but love the stack of stencils I’ve used and modified on fabric for pieces)
