Curiosity Census: What ranks of lore, if any, do you have?

What ranks of lore, if any, do you have? this is mostly for my own strange fascination with demographics. are these types of questions (off topic-ish) ok to be asking in the forum? is it ok to be posting polls?

I suspect you won’t get details on here, that information is worth something after all!.

As a specialist you can start off with 3 ranks of 1 realm at creation. There are several people with a 4th rank in game (XP picked up while playing) and I suspect there is probably a few with rank 5 by now, there’s been enough event xp for long term players.

If you want a bit of everything there are several people with 1 rank in 2 or 3 realms, allowing access to the solo cast rituals of several realms. As to which ones go together that depends on what your character is trying to do.

Also remember there are rings, staffs, potions and the regio that can all grant you additonal ranks (up to 2 times more than your character skill rank Magical skills - Empire) so you could have someone running up to 9 or 10 ranks now, although they’ll be completely off their head with magic, and probably a danger to everyone around them by that point!

I’m happy to tell you mine as it’s not played yet only made in character creation for when I die of 1 spring and autumn and 2 summer.

You could do an IC census near the Regio for best results. Almost everyone wants their free rank unless small magnitude so Regio is best bet.

For reference we’d rather you didn’t post polls of this nature, talking about the ranges of Lore that are about and how common certain lores are no problem but this is heading across the IC info boundary.

As other people have suggested it’s fertile ground for doing on the field and I know some people have already done IC census in their nations.

I know several people who have lore 5 in a realm.
