Dawn Soft Outfit Base

Hiya,

Been looking for fairly ornate and blinged out tunics, that are within my limited budget, to use as a base for a dawn outfit. Would something like the reference pics below be appropriate as a base. I would be accessorizing on top belts etc. The cut is fairly simple and I would be wearing a
collared shirt underneath. My primary concern is that the patterning style isn’t quite appropriate but I’m new and may be over thinking. I’ve tried to include a close up of the patterning but am not able to post more then one image unfortunately

Thank you anyone who replies!

Here’s the close up on patterning!

First, welcome along to the forums

Hmm, I’d say that’s a HELL YES! for Dawn.

Bright colours, ornate embellishment, that’ll fit in nicely. It IS worth checking the pattern, but that’s abstracts and flowers, so fits nicely.

The cut looks good, collared shirt and belt over the top should be fine. Perhaps coloured leggings or tight trousers to go with it?

If I’m nitpicking, I’d say this is leaning a touch towards the Brass Coast in style. If anyone asks, you can say that’s who sold it to you. If worn in the BC, they’d probably say it looks kinda Dawnish…

A few accessories and that’s solid Dawn. Good choice of base layer.

To help out fellow kit-hunters, what seller is that from?

Thank you very much for your feedback I’m very pleased! It’s made by a company called mytholon in denmark I believe but there are a few resellers as there are a couple of different variants. The only UK one I found is https://www.thevikingstore.co.uk/ but similar stuff from the same company can be found on celticwebmerchant and knight-store

I’m going to be a downer here

Be very, very cautions with Viking Store, Celtic Merchant, and Knight Store

They don’t have the best reputation for shipping on time or providing what they say they will…or any resemblance of decent customer service

I believe, much like Burgschneider, Mythlon has their own website you can buy direct from

EDIT:
Mythlon does have an English language direct store front!

Ahh I see. I did have a feeling they were all connected in some way based on their websites being quite similar and stocking the same stuff. I will be cautious thanks!
