Hello everyone.
This coming event, we are running the very first Dawnish Festival of Remembrance for the game. It will be running on the Saturday in the Glory Square at 3:30pm, anticipated to last about 2hrs, and any Dawnish character is welcome to get involved.

The physical festival is being limited to only those lost in the last year, for this first time, as we have a /lot/ of recently lost loved ones to remember.
It will primarily comprise of:
~ Presenting the Names of the dead to the crowd, with the opportunity for Troubadors to give a dramatic 30 second hype of a Glorious Dead person’s story. People are welcome to Grid as the Glorious Dead for this as well.
~ A Grand Melee show fight (blunted blades IC as well as OC) where the Girded Glorious Dead get to dramatically defeat Black Knights playing the part of their final foes
~ A 10min farewells time for the audience to interact with the Girded Glorious Dead
~ A ritual de-girding of the Glorious Dead to release them back to the Labyrinth and on to their next adventure. Hopefully with a choir as a backdrop.
As part of the festival, we are also collecting Obituaries for as many of the dead Dawnish player characters as possible, from the very start of the game. The linked spreadsheet below is the collection point.
If you have a dead Dawnish Character in your account history, or were friends with a dead Dawnish player character, you are welcome to submit an obituary for them.
Each year of death is in a separate tab, so hopefully it should be easier to work out if yours is already included, but if we do end up with repeats, I’ll do some editing to blend them together.
Spouses (dawnish, non-dawnish, dead or alive) are encouraged to be included in the obituary. True Love should be remembered just as much as great deeds.
