Good afternoon!
This weekend there is a lot going on to prepare for the event, this includes our Sparky team sorting out their cable planning and making sure everything is safe and prepared for us all.
Tonight is the cut off to request powered camping in the OC accessible camp site. This supply is for medical devices and accessibility aids which have been cleared with the Sparky Team.
IC powered camping should have already been worked out with the Sparky Team and your camp planner.
Instructions for what you need to do at the event -
If you are camping out of character: please ask the traffic team to let the Sparky team know you have arrived and where you are. This event we have members of the Sparky team based in each OC camp who will direct you to the best spot to pitch and arrange your hook up. Please do not pitch before speaking to them.
If you are camping in character:
Please ask your camp planner or another member of crew to let the Sparky team know you have arrived.
Please position your tent as indicated by your camp planner, or as close to that as is reasonably possible.
We may not always be able to attend promptly, but once we know you are on site we will do our best to arrange your power supply in a reasonable time.
Arrival times:
If you arrive or make us aware of your presence on site after 9pm on the Thursday we will no longer guarantee that we will connect your power until the Friday morning. This is in order to allow our volunteer crew to finish work at a reasonable time.
Late arrivals:
We recognise that sometimes people arrive late due to unforeseen circumstances, and if that does happen please contact us through your camp planner or GOD and we will attempt to find a reasonable solution. If possible, please give us advance notice by contacting the PD phone number on 07817 133793.
Use of supply:
We are happy for you use our provided power supply to run your medical devices as discussed, and small items such as phone chargers. For any other items please do check with us at Sparkies@profounddecisions.co.uk.
