Empire coin couting trays

At E4, GOD had a bunch of 3D printed coin counting trays. Now you, too, can own some!

I originally designed these trays to help with counting coins in the Game Operations Desk (GOD), but several people asked if they could get some for themselves. And now you can!

We’ll have a limited supply of coin trays in GOD available to buy, printed – as in the photo – in a wood-effect filament, so they look slightly more in-character than the bright plastic ones GOD had last event. They’ll be £2 each, so £10 for the full set, and available once GOD is open for general service, so typically from 5pm on the Friday of the event.

So I have an idea how many to print in advance, please let me know in the comments if you’d be interested; I’ll try to have some spare, but it’s always difficult to tell whether I should be bringing five or five hundred…

I’ve also made the files available on Printables, so folk who have access to a 3D printer can run off their own versions if they like.

I’d be interested in the 1 ring and 5 ring trays but I don’t deal with high enough quantities of the larger denominations for those to be as useful.

Thank you for making the file available

Have dropped the link to the folks in orbit who coin wrangle and deal with the eldritch creatures which are 3D printers

Thank you so much for giving us the files so we can pint off our own, as one of the eldritch creatures with a 3d printer I will be printing some off!
