I’m attending my first event soon and staying at a hotel nearby. Is there a time I need to be off site if I’m not camping? I can only find info about IC and OOC timings. But I need to know if I don’t leave by a certain time will my car be locked in?

I have also been unable to find definitive answers, and will ask around.
To the best of my knowledge, the site is not locked down overnight.
I suspect that you could drive off site at any point, as long as you don’t try driving through the IC areas.
Please keep to the 10mph speed limit and keep the headlights dipped.

Here we go:
“The gate will close at approximately 10pm and will open again at 10am on Friday morning. If you are arriving after this time, there will be a number on the gate that you can call and security will open the gate to allow you in.”
That’s for Thursday night. It might be in play the whole weekend. So getting in or out may need a quick call, but should be fine.
As time out isn’t until 1am it would be reasonable to expect a few people like you head out to go to the hotel around then.
Emailing PD is the best way to get a definitive answer, or you can ask in GOD (the admin tent) when you arrive.
And if you do email, please let us know here what the answrr is.
For what it’s worth, I had to leave an event early once around midnight and gates were open. But I might have just got lucky so don’t take that as gospel.
To add another data point, I commute to the site and have never had a problem. Granted, I usually leave before 10 pm but I once left closer to 11 pm and it was OK.
