Right now, we’re very aware of multiple attacks against the ability of trans people to access community spaces. While we’re conscious of the dangers of “virtue signalling”, there does come a point where keeping quiet begins to feel a little like complicity.
Profound Decisions is proud to have trans people as participants in Empire, both as key members of our crew and as players. With that in mind then we want to be very clear: Profound Decisions will continue to welcome trans people to our events. We’ll continue to support their right to be their authentic selves and to use the toilets that they feel most comfortable using. We will not make any changes to our policies in this regard, and we’ll continue to do our best to support the LGBTQ+ community members who attend our games in any capacity.
