Gloves...?

As someone who has a thing where I don’t actually produce heat in my arms and legs, especially hands and feet staying warm is gonna be important. And as it happens, I am also allergic to wool. So I was wondering if there were any types of gloves, that wouldn’t have wool but are still IC, and keep warm?

Leather ones are fine or suede if you prefer. You can pick them up on the field for around £10 - £25 dependent on style and material.

A lot of cotton knitted gloves are perfectly IC- I’ve used cotton knitted fingerless gloves at Empire and they looked fine.

Do they keep warm as well? 0o0

Okay, thanks, will probably end up buying them there then

Keep an eye out this autumn/winter for acrylic or polyester ones (which look rather like wool) or for leather with a warm lining.
Better to get them before the event if you can, just to be on the safe side, and not to have to buy in a rush.

Also, that way you’ll be able to get some OOC use out of them this winter!

what Canashir said.
buy a decent pair of lined leather gloves as soon as they start appearing on the market stalls this autumn/winter. ~£10.

I have leather gloves lined with thinsulate, which work very well for me. Leather is good because it stops the wind, and is at least damp proof.

Mine were a lucky find at a charity shop but you can find them online.

Although being able to put your hands in your pockets and keep them close to your body is probably more effective long term, So worth adding to your outer costume if it doesn’t have them if you can.
