Yeah, that’s not going to happen.
If you want a ref call, mail in. Comments on the forums, even these forums, are not binding, and hoping the right people from PD are reading all the threads on the forums this long until the event is an optimism bordering on naivety.

Just to chime in as a ref and agree with this, it’s very unlikely that a forum thread will be remembered and updated even if the people who discuss the subject have read the thread. And there’s no guarantee of timescale or the like - at the moment, the next time ilium will be discussed is probably when someone next goes “I want to make an artefact”, aka at some random time in a hurry.
Send an email to get your answers if you want them with any sort of reliability.
(And yes, while I am a ref, I can’t answer those questions for you)
I believe PD has always had a stated policy on not officially answering any rules query on forums/FB etc
Now these boards are the most official board I am aware PD have ever supported (the only one?) but these boards exist mostly to allow players to discuss rules. And plenty of rules queries can be answered by a wiki-fu master player.
Genuine rules queries:
- Email PD - empire.rules@profounddecisions.co.uk
- PD may update the wiki when time allows to clarify.
PD is aware many players don’t like forums, even official ones.
And so don’t want a two tier system with people who read the wiki running on different rules to those who don’t.
(Arguably it kinda happens anyway but eh.)
Would you be so kind as to update the sticky on the rules forum, or the main sticky, to reflect that?
Graeme has committed to answers not covered in the wiki, and the rules forums do have email suitable questions aked, and sometimes answered. Best to codify this position raised here to avoid the same
