Is there an in game way of referring to the Empire wiki?

I’m a priest and I want to quote a line of text from the wiki in a judgement I am writing to lend an air of authority to the point I’m making.

Is there a lore friendly way of referring to the wiki / information found on the wiki in game that I can use?

There’s no official way to refer to it; I’ve heard people call it things like “communication/information from the civil service”, though it sounds like that wouldn’t work for what you need. Could you possibly put the line in quotation marks to make it obvious that it comes from somewhere, then either rely on people to ask or look it up?

Yeah I thought it might be more of an unofficial way to refer to it - which like you say doesn’t work for what I’m trying to do.

But thanks, yeah I’ll try something like the quote thing you’ve suggested

Depending on what you’re trying to quote, you might refer to “common wisdom” on Virtue.

If it’s possible, you might try searching for a previous Synod judgement to quote - the Judgements of the Synod are, after all, meant to be a body of precedence for future decisions.

It’s tricky to say exactly how to approach it without knowing what sort of thing you’re trying to quote.

Would it be sufficient to refer to Synod Judgments from Autumn 385YE (or whatever)?

Oh, in that case, those are IC published throughout the Empire, and a matter of public record. I usually refer to ‘Judgement XX of the Synod, Autumn 385YE’.
