I’m thinking about making some jewelry to sell IC, I’ve been reading through the wiki pages for each nation but was wondering if anyone might be able to share or point me towards photos of players that show some bling?

I imagine they’ll be getting many visits based on that photo… I’ll be sniffing around to get an idea of prices, but I will not be offering anything in the same vein so it will literally just be to work out what I’m selling my work for… and also, possibly, once I’ve made a little profit, to make a purchase of my own…
Indeed. Abigail learnt the pious art of icon painting from her Chapter. She did create a larger icon of the Highguard Egregore Escon but considers herself daring for doing so.
Of course you can always try and convince her that the image you desire is virtuous.

There’s some information about art history terms towards the bottom. At some point, I’d like to do some nation-specific guides, but haven’t had chance yet. If you’ve got any particular questions, ask away, and I’ll answer them as best as I can - bear in mind, however, that I’m not PD crew, so anything I say is purely my opinion.
It is indeed a fantastic page, that could only be improved by a little illustration.
Essentially, I think I’m on the right track but would love some visual confirmation.

Toxicity caution: there are many types of brass and some of them contain lead (which makes it easier to cut or machine the brass).
I think modern metals like stainless-steel alloys or titanium or niobium could be declared to be phys-repping Mithril.
A lot of mediaeval wares were very gaudy when they were new. I don’t know how brightly they polished their decorative metalwork, but they certainly went in for a lot of brightly coloured pattern-decorations with anything they could. (On the other hand, for LARP, sometimes a thing that seems/feels mediaeval might be more successful than something that’s “historically correct” but at odds with most people’s impressions of the period.)
As for myself, nothing good enough to show yet, but I’m learning to engrave metal with traditional hand tools.
As far as I’m aware, improving the look&feel etc. pages with more illustrations is currently on the wiki editing agenda, so collecting example photos for the various points listed in that article may actually be helpful.
Leaded brass/bronze is not going to harm you unless you ingest it or inhale it as a vapour.
For jewellery, I’ve made a couple of bits,

People buy as much for Character/plot relevance as they do for Aesthetic appeal.
