Hey all, im.loolong to make a set of night mage battle armour, i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions?

Night magic designs… something fluid and in flux and changeable. Smoke and shadow and obfuscation…
Remember that mage armour has to look more mage than armour.
I’d suggest some leather or fabric pieces in dark colours. And then decorations on top of that, multi-coloured sequins, swirling patterns of one colour of paint with Night runes picked out in another colour… and some sort of light fabric over the top, in a smoke/mist effect…
…ooo, you could use glow-in-the-dark paint, perhaps?
The limit is that as battle-mage, you need something you can actually fight in. Trailing ribbons of ephemeral indigo chiffon are nice, but not if you step on them and fall over…

(I play a battle mage currently, and made my armour from leather armour bits hand-painted with runes. Lots of runes…)
I was thinking, colour shifting scales in black/silver possibly some purple in there, ive beentoying eith the idea about carving a knotwork wingged wyrm aswell
