Lovely? Where did you get the hardware?
The small anvil and tools were in the house when we bought it. The leather tools I bought on the big online retailer which shall not be named. Vehi-mercatus for the brass fittings, they also have belts and belt straps. But I bought the vegetan leather strap from Zeughaus as they have a fairly local shop and are friendly.
I need to find a good place to purchase the the brass rivets.
The long dark was long, the mind wanders, my Dawnish character seems to have been superceded by a brand new orc. But, it is still actively being worked on. Problem isâŚlooks very much like a Marcher âŚ
Gutted I couldnât attend E1, I will join you all at E3 as Klesh of the Broken Maw, First Legion.
AnywayâŚhere is a little preview with some new pieces of armour.
Oh looking very nice and I like those Jack Chains.
One possible suggestion to make it look a bit more orc, is paint the armour? This would also help with maintenance as well as you wonât need to polish, just touch up the paint on occasion.
Hi Mark,
This is not for my orc, still for Dawn as a replacement character in case of death. My orc will wear chainmail with forarm plate protection and lower leg plate. I will share pictures of the orc kit when I am happier with it.
Ah cool, I can still recommend painting armour just in much brighter colours
. Looking forward to seeing your orc when theyâre ready ![]()
Here is the progress on the orc kit. I still need to add dangly bits etcâŚ
Suggestions and feedback are most welcome, I won´t take offence
Thatâs amazing. Love the two-tone handwraps. Iâm getting âwealthy Reaver captainâ vibes off it; Good stuff, well worn.
Please excuse my french but your ork kit looks fuken sick!!
All done for E3! Although my weapon wouldnât pass safety check, so will need to sort that out at the event.
done
Youâve brought that together beautifully, well done. ![]()
What an event! The kit worked great and did not look out of place.
Going to have to rethink my arm wraps as they kept getting undone, same for my leg covers.
Looking good, when you work out some solutions to that post an update
itâll cool to track how your kit evolves if you can keep posting ![]()
