I recently came across the fact that there are non profound decisions run games set in the world of empire larp and thought that was a really cool idea. i came across a few but couldn’t find any definitive list. i live in ireland so am unlikely to go to any but i am curious what non PD run games exist

Do you mean sanctioned events? Games within the Empire universe, but run by third party organisers?
Yup, they’re commonly known as Player Events and can be anything from an IC dinner party for a small group to an IC ‘social’ up to a full on weekend full of plot and combat. Some are invite-only, some are open to all like regular events, some are focused on a single nation but open booking to others once it seems like everyne of that nation who will book, has. Of the latter sort, there are more in the off season, autumn/winter/spring, and they tend to be advertised on Facebook more than anywhere.
