If an extra friends parent was coning purely to drop off some equipment and was then going ti leave would they be forced to pay fir a full ticket even though they wont bw attebding the event?
I doubt it but you would need to talk to PD to get a definite answer.
I have had a parent drop me off at an event without them needing a ticket, the gate crew happily waved us through.

I know that parents dropping off students is quite common and no one expects them to pay.
Payment for an event is based on playing the event. While PD need to be careful about having people on site who have not paid, such that they can’t have people turn up and camp in the OOC field for free over the weekend, the crew will generally trust people not to do this. So if someone turns up to drop things off, they will be waved through.
So far this has worked well, if in future it is discovered that people are abusing that trust, PD may change their stance, but it seems unlikely.
I remember an incident a couple years back, where a player didn’t pay for a ticket, turned up to sell stuff and was caught out when trying to do rituals.
