So as I posted on the Urizen FB group, I’m considering running an Urizen player group between now and E1 next year. This is still early stages and I’m first getting a feel for interest.
General details:
- It will be set in Urizen, probably Morrow, hosted by the Imperial Archmage of Summer or the wider Auric Horizon depending on what we go for as the plot and background.
- The event will take place somewhere in the south-west of the UK - no, not in Cornwall or anything quite that far, but as central as I can get it while still finding a reasonably priced location that I can viably access from where I and a bunch of the Auric Horizon live (Bristol).
- The event will be open to non-Urizeni, since part of the point is to also have a player event in the south-west for all of us who are too far away for things like the Mandala event
- Given that I’ve only just considered doing this now, I’m imagining the event will take place early next year rather than before Xmas this year; but again, will depend on peoples’ availability and when I can get a site booked for.
So, what I’d like from people:
- Indications of interest or otherwise.
- Maybe an idea of when you’d prefer the event (November - though unlikely? January? February? Even March despite being close to E1?)
- What kind of level of combat you’d like? I am not planning a combat heavy event but I figure the Sentinels and other fighty types might want some action.
- What kind of general event would you like? Just a pure social event for getting to know one another? Political? Some arcane and cerebral stuff? An adventure that is wild and mad by Urizen standards and would be thought of as sedate by anyone else?
- Would you prefer a one-day event or maybe one that ran with IC time-in over the Sat and Sun of a weekend? Other?
- Any particular areas or bits of Urizeni culture that you’d like to see explored or at least featured? (We can totally have Ushabti!
