I need to replace the bungee “string” of my LARP crossbow for the next event, anyone know where I can get one? Already crossed larpgems.com off of the list of possibilities.

I’ll take a guess. You’ve got a full-scale (14.5") crossbow, probably an older model, and you’ve been hunting for somewhere that sells replacement strings, and Gems is out of that size.
I am in exactly the same position, and I’m sorry, but I suspect we’ll have to make* them ourselves from scratch.
I have yet to find anywhere that will sell me a replacement, after a year of so of (fairly lazy) searching.
If you (or anyone else) finds somewhere able to churn out a few of these, post it here…
*(I’m thinking bungee cords, hacksaws, lighters to seal the ends, and a couple of pairs of pliers for the metal cords…)
