Hey there people!
My dear lady and me were checking transport back from Dadford to Milton Keynes Coach Station. Sadly there’s no Uber back and going by shuttle is not too secure for us since it’s our first time on empire. We saw some public transport and haven’t booked the whole trip back yet.
Do you have good recommendation to get to Stansted Airport or someone going in a direction who wants some coin and good company for a while?

First off, I haven’t tried any of these options myself, they are just educated guesses.
Your best chance to find a lift from players is likely to be on the facebook group, Empire LRP: Travel Arrangements. If you don’t use facebook then somebody here who does can probably ask on your behalf and point people to this thread for you. I have no idea what the chances are of getting responses this close to the event though.
To get to Milton Keynes coach station, I suggest contacting some taxi firms based in Milton Keynes for quotes to pick you up from Dadford Road camp site. This close to the day of travel, it could be a cheaper option than booking train tickets to reach Stansted as well as faster. The full distance from Dadford to Stansted by taxi would probably be very expensive but it might be worth asking for quotes, just in case a company happens to be picking another party up from the airport.
If you do need/choose to travel by train, you have a choice of going via Birmingham and change trains once or through London, which will require you to use two underground lines to switch stations but is faster by an hour or more. Prices look similar so travel time, how much you’re carrying and your experience with the London underground network are going to be the deciding factors, I imagine. The journey planner won’t give you the Birmingham route in one ticket however, you would need to book for Banbury to Birmingham New Street station and then book for the train from New Street to Stansted airport. If going this route I would allow 20-30 minutes between arrival and departure at New Street if possible, to comfortably get to your next platform.
