Oh that’s lovely!
I am making some more parts for my mage armour. The first is made out of thermoplastic and painted to look like dragonbone. The second is carved out of a 2 by four. A billhook was used to do the roughing out, to make it extra Marcher (And because I don’t own an axe). The wooden one needs pyrography and varnish, and maybe a wash to highlight the battle damage effect.
Got some new meds so I can actually do stuff now…so I am…
Weapons rack for the house tent, work in progress:
We’ve done some glass painting onto test glasses (yay for Nutella jars).
Some bits came out well (OK, the bits hubby did came out well, the bits I did did not). It’s unlikely we’ll get a chance to paint the lanterns before E1 but it was good to have a play.
Sadly no photos today. [EDIT: have a photo]
They look fab!
Oh that’s very nice sir, I’m somewhat jealous
.
Chasables are the way forward…all the Marcher priests are wearing them this season!
Yeah. Because it’s cold and they are warm
.
@Kargur! I did an Art! Hopefully it’ll look even better once it’s dried and has a candle inside rather than me ineffectually shining a torch at it. Thank you for the encouragement. ![]()
@Jim Oh yes. Like. Very much.

Awesome
I recently completed my “woodcut” maps of the Empire World.
They are heavily based on the existing maps on the wiki by Daisy Abbot.

Oh very nice, I can appreciate that took a lot of effort so applause
Thank you. Yeah, these are version 3.21 of the map. My laptop gets very upset at me when I try to open the Paint.net file…
I’m not going to E1 because of a clash, but I’m sending stuff down for my banner!
I think it adds up to 10 letters, a gift which may or may not get to the person it’s meant for and some copies of a document that was put together over the break (not my writing, but I did the hard copies).
A Pamphlet for E1 - well, a re-write of… No photos though, but it’ll get printed in time… I hope!
