This wind starts with the Imperial Orcs trip to see the Great Forest Orcs, but quickly segues into something else. As well as uncovering the rest of what the sept believes, they uncover a monstrous plot.
The Druj have told Chief Vallack that unless his sept betrays the Empire, all the Great Forest Orc sept slaves kept in the weirwood groves of the Forest of Ulnak and the Salt Flats of Sanath will die a horrible, horrible death.
Desperate, and unwilling to betray their friends even to save their people, they’re begging the Navarr and the Unshackled for help. It’s a massive undertaking to stop the Druj murdering the orcs who, up til now, have been forced to help them maintain their weirwood groves… but it could be possible. Provided a lot of people are prepared to do things they might not want to do…
