Hi all,
I’ve always heard about LARP but never really knew much about it until a few weeks ago. It is safe to say that it has really caught my imagination and that I have been bitten by the bug. I’ve always had a thing for fantsy, recently DMing to a Dungeons and Dragon campaign, and love the intricacies of fantasy worlds. Empire LARP especially seems to be all about the details which, frankly, is amazing. Unfortunately, due to money and university workload, it would be difficult for me to go to the Spring equinox event next year; but I am aiming to go to the Summer solstice event.
To this extent, I was wondering if there were any Urizen healer about that could give me any tips, techniques and equipment ideas? the Urizen people seem right up my street and a good fit with the character I have in my head. But I can get my head around the different healing methods? Additionally, if anyone knows of any spires that may be recruiting around summer time next year I would greatly appreciate getting in contact with them.
Also, any tips on getting equipment on a low budget would be very well received, I’ve started the process of making bags and tool rolls from what I can find in charity shops but any other tips would be great.
Last but not least, if anyone could give any links to recent events in the Empire and Urizen that would be helpfull/ what advice would you give a new player in trying to get up to speed on the events of the world.
