Nervous but keen: Any tips for a noob LARPer

New player looking for advice

Hi everyone, So i was looking for some advice since i’m completely newto larp. To be more specific, i’m planning on creating a Marcher apothecary, so anything specific i need to know about that? Second, i have a tattoo, i should probably keep that covered while at Empire right? (maybe some horrific scar my character doesn’t want people to see?) Hello, I am a potential new player and I am hoping to come to the September event. However I am finding it difficult to find any friends that are interested in coming with me. As this is the case I was wondering if anyone would be interested in recruiting a total newbie to their hall (or group, or whatever). Hey all, We came to our first ever event at E3 and absolutely enjoyed it, however choosing a nation on costume alone appears not to be the best choice. I also don’t think we played enough to get involved in plot etc and we’re really nervous about knocking on tents etc to join groups so missed out on lots of stuff I think. Looking for general advice
